Overview

Energy resilience plans rarely get tested until supply tightens, and the decisions ministers and regulators face in that window are both political and technical, under immense time pressure. The cohort will run a simulated supply crisis at Ofgem to make those hour-by-hour calls for themselves.

Learning outcomes: Test decisions under time pressure; understand the roles of government, regulators and industry; examine how supply, price and public communication interact during a crisis.
