Overview

Offshore renewables are critical to the energy transition. The UK has built a world-leading position that is now under pressure from grid delays, supply chains and cost. The cohort will go on site at a Norfolk wind and solar farm to see how they are built, financed and connected to the grid in practice.

Learning outcomes: Examine how wind and solar projects are financed and built; understand grid and supply-chain constraints; consider the policy conditions needed to accelerate deployment.
