Overview

MPs visited Hinkley Point C for a walking tour of the two reactor units led by technical experts, experiencing the scale and complexity of modern nuclear infrastructure. The visit included time at the National College for Nuclear meeting apprentices trained on site, discussions on how nuclear fits within the UK's energy mix, and first-hand insight into the day-to-day activities of a major infrastructure project.
