Members will understand how allied health professionals affect recovery, waiting times and patient flow across hospital, community and mental-health services.
Overview

Physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and the wider allied health workforce now drive waiting times across whole services, with shortages quietly determining whether stroke, mental health and elderly patients move through the system at all. The cohort will meet with the workforce most policy debates leave out.

Learning outcomes: Meet the professions often missing from policy debate; examine their role across care pathways; understand how shortages create delays throughout the system.
