Overview

UK pharmaceuticals operate as a high-tech, high-skilled, high export industry with impactful investment choices in front of them. The cohort will visit research and manufacturing sites in Bradford and Cambridge to see how biosciences and tech companies bring jobs and investment into different areas of the UK.

Learning outcomes: Visit research and manufacturing settings; examine how discoveries become products; understand the policy conditions influencing investment and location decisions.
