Overview

Funding and prioritisation trade-offs that used to sit in Whitehall now sit with Integrated Care Boards, and the decisions involve real money, real services and real political cost. The cohort will take the seats in a role-play to see what integrated care demands of the people running it.

Learning outcomes: Take part in a resource-allocation simulation; understand ICB responsibilities; examine how evidence, public need and political accountability shape decisions.
