Overview

Mental health demand has outpaced provision for a decade, with the cost of late intervention landing on A&E, schools, the criminal justice system and families themselves. The cohort will visit community mental health services, CAMHS and innovation sites in London to see what early intervention looks like when it works, and the price when it does not.

Learning outcomes: Compare crisis and community pathways; examine early-intervention models; understand the system-wide cost of delayed or inaccessible support.
