
England's primary schools are routinely cited as world-class, yet attendance has not recovered from COVID, unmet SEND need is increasingly absorbed by mainstream classrooms, and behaviour and mental-health pressures are now part of many teachers’ working day. The cohort will shadow a full school day in contrasting primaries to see how teachers and senior leadership manage these demands.
