Overview

Every classroom in the country depends on a workforce being actively built, retained and retrained. Shortages bite hardest in maths, science and SEND. The cohort will shadow trainee teachers and teaching assistants to see how that pipeline holds together.

Learning outcomes: Shadow trainees and teaching assistants; examine training routes and workload; understand retention pressures in shortage subjects and SEND.
