Overview

How do we prepare our police forces and officers for a fast-changing society, from digital harm to mental health, protests and the demands on the front line? A residential visit to the College of Policing gives the Cohort the chance to spend time with officers at every level, from new recruits to senior leaders, as they share knowledge, develop, and train the next generation.

Learning outcomes: Observe police learning and leadership development; understand how standards are shared nationally; examine skills gaps across recruitment, training and progression.
